NWAC’s member schools to use Baden’s new Perfection® Thermo Soccer ball

RENTON, Wash. (Jan. 23, 2017) – Baden Sports and the Northwest Athletic Conference today announced a new Official Soccer Ball for the remaining years of their multiyear partnership.

The agreement removes the Perfection® Elite™ SX751 soccer ball as the Official Ball and replaces it with Baden’s newest addition to their soccer line, the Perfection® Thermo ST7 to be used exclusively in all NWAC league, playoff, and championship games, starting with the 2018 season.

Baden soccer balls are already widely used by NWAC schools.  In last year’s summer tournament, Baden tested and received feedback from a number of NWAC soccer coaches who seemed satisfied and excited for the match ball construction with the thermal process.  The popularity of Baden’s Thermo ST350, which launched in 2015, makes the Perfection® Thermo a perfect addition to the 2018 soccer season.

“Baden has gone above and beyond to make sure our players are using the very best – exceeding all of our expectations for quality and service,” said Marco Azurdia, Executive Director of the NWAC. “Moving forward, we see the transition between balls as an advantage to NWAC soccer teams that constantly face wet playing conditions.”

The NWAC is the parent organization for 36 community colleges located in Idaho, Oregon, Washington and British Columbia.  NWAC has partnered with Baden for over 30 years.

“We are honored to offer the Perfection® Thermo ST7 soccer ball to one of our most loyal partners in the history of Baden,” said Michael Schindler, CEO of Baden Sports, based in Renton, Washington. “Our goal has always been to provide the highest-quality ball at affordable prices for the team.  We look forward to supporting the NWAC and its players as they chase their dreams, showcase their skills, and compete for championships for years to come.”

The NWAC’s official soccer ball features a thermally fused PU for durability and protection against water absorption, elastic foam backing for better striking and touch, a textured cover material for truer flight and better control, and a high rebound butyl bladder for a livelier response off the foot and long-lasting air retention.  It is also NFHS approved and comes with a 2-year guarantee.

All of Baden’s soccer products, as well as bags, and accessories, can be viewed at www.badensports.com.
