FEDERAL WAY, Wash. (January 28, 2009) – Baden Sports is proud to announce that its Perfection® basketball and football will join the Perfection® volleyball as the Official Balls of the South Dakota High School Activities Association (SDHSAA) beginning in the 2009-2010 school year. Baden’s Perfection® series is the Company’s top-of-the-line game balls used by Pat Summitt (University of Tennessee) and other elite programs nationwide. In addition, Baden’s Perfection® soccer ball will be the Official Ball when and if the SDHSAA sanctions the sport of soccer.

Wayne Carney, Executive Director of the SDHSAA said: “The South Dakota High School Activities Association is pleased to announce a five year agreement with Baden Sports, Inc. The Perfection series will bring a high level of competitive excellence as never seen before in the industry.”

In an effort to provide a smooth transition for schools to the newly adopted balls, Baden and the SDHSAA will provide one free ball to every basketball and football program in the state. The free balls will be sent to the athletic directors at each SDHSAA high school in spring 2009. Furthermore, a “Honeymoon Special” offer on 2009 purchases will be extended to all football and basketball coaches in South Dakota.
