Natalie Alred Women's Volleyball Coach, McCook Community College

Natalie Alred set to begin first season at the helm of the McCook Community College Indian Volleyball program. She has coached for 22 years as a head coach, and has posted a 373 wins.

Prior to coming to McCook Community College, the 1987 graduate of Henderson State University served as the head women's coach at Colorado Christian and Letourneau University. Alred began her career at Arkansas Tech University in 1988 and earned a master's degree from her alma mater in 1992.

Another stop along the way was Tri-State University in Angola, Ind., where she coached the men's and women's teams. While in Angola, Alred earned a pair of National Coach of the Year honors in 1997 and 1998. One year later, Tri-State won the MIVA/NAIA National Championship in men's volleyball.

Coach Alred, most recently served as the Head Women's Volleyball Coach at Earlham College in Richmond, IN. In the three years prior to her arrival, Earlham had just eight total wins and never more than three in a season. In 2007, the Quakers qualified for the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament for the first time since the event became a four-team affair in 2004. MCC is excited to welcome her to the college and coaching staff. We wish Coach Alred and her team success on the court this 2011 season.
