SEATTLE, WA, October 17, 2011—Former UW Husky Softball Star Danielle Lawrie will be at Seattle Team Shop in Bellevue Square Friday, October 21^st for free autographs and photos for fans of all ages from 4pm to 5pm.

Lawrie has a long list of accomplishments and honors. At the University of Washington she holds many records in wins, shutouts, strikeouts, just to name a few. Danielle holds the Pac-10 record for most Player of the Week honors in a career and season. She is also second in all-time Pac-10 career strikeouts. She is sixth in career strikeouts in NCAA history.

She represented the Canadian softball team in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games where she struck out 13 batters in 12 innings in her 3 appearances during Canada's run at the games. All these achievements culminated in her leading the Washington Huskies Softball team to their first national championship in 2009.

She received the NCAA Softball Player of the Year in 2009 and 2010, the 2009 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the year, and an ESPY nomination. She graduated the University of Washington in 2010. Danielle is currently playing for the Florida Pride of the National Pro Fast Pitch Organization.

Lawrie has also helped in the design and development of an impressive line of fast pitch sports equipment and accessories with Baden Sports.
