Nation’s fastest-growing minor league basketball association to use Baden balls exclusively

RENTON, Wash. (Aug. 14, 2017) –Baden Sports and the North American Basketball League today announced a multiyear partnership establishing Baden as the official ball provider of the NABL, the country’s fastest-growing minor league basketball association.

The agreement expands Baden’s existing role with the NABL and confirms Baden’s top-of-the-line Elite™ Game Basketball will be used exclusively in all NABL league, playoff, and championship games, starting with the 2018 season.

Baden basketballs were used widely in the NABL this year, including during the recently completed championship series. Baden’s responsive customer service and commitment to delivering a quality product earned the family-owned company “official ball” status.

The NABL, founded in 2016, completed its second season last month with 19 member teams across the country. Driven by an in-flux of talent, the league is eyeing expansion as early as next year.

The NABL’s official ball features alternating blue and white panels, a distinctive color pattern Baden customized for the league in advance of this year’s championship series.

The ball also has Baden’s Cushion Control Technology™, which embeds thousands of tiny air cells in the carcass for a softer touch and truer bounce.
