Baden Named Official Ball of Washington's Adult Soccer Association July 28, 2014

RENTON, Wash. (July 28, 2014) – Baden Sports, Inc., today announced its Lexum® soccer ball has been selected as the official ball of the Washington State Adult Soccer Association (WSASA), effective immediately.

The multi-year adoption ensures that all in-state competitions sponsored by the WSASA will be contested using Baden’s high-quality Lexum SX551-CPL game ball. Newly designed for this year, the ball features a hand-stitched polyurethane cover for exceptionally soft touch, performance and control, and is manufactured using an innovative construction process that ensures superior roundness, strength and shape retention. The ball also is treated with Baden’s proprietary RainShield™ seam sealant to prevent water absorption and allow for maximum playability in wet conditions.

Quality, consistency among the reasons Baden picked by the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association

       

RENTON, Wash. (July 25, 2014) – Baden Sports, Inc., today announced its Perfection® volleyball has been selected as the official ball of the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association (PVCA), effective immediately.

The multi-year adoption, signed this week, ensures Baden’s highest-quality leather game ball, the Perfection VX5EC-210, featuring a red, white and navy color pattern, will be used exclusively at all PVCA events, including the association’s annual all-star matches for senior players.

Baden also is the official indoor ball of the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) and provides the official ball to volleyball coaching associations in many states, including Michigan, Minnesota and Texas, among others.

Baden Perfection Volleyball Renewed as Official Ball of North Dakota High Schools

Baden’s top-of-the-line Perfection VX5EC-220 game ball to continue being used for all postseason matches

Softball Star Danielle Lawrie Signs Multi-Year Extension with Baden Sports April 29, 2014

Two-time national player of the year to continue developing and promoting Axe™ fastpitch softball bats, balls and accessories

RENTON, Wash. (April 29, 2014) – Baden Sports, Inc., today announced that Danielle Lawrie, a two-time national player of the year and current professional softball player, has signed a multi-year endorsement contract. The agreement ensures Lawrie will continue providing input and expertise to the development of quality, fastpitch softball products, including her signature line of Axe bats, softballs and headbands. Lawrie first signed with Baden in 2010 following a decorated career at the University of Washington.

“Everything Baden does is about improving the quality of the game for the player,” Lawrie said. “I’m excited to be continuing my work with them and am looking forward to collaborating on the next generation of Axe bats and fastpitch products.”

Lawrie, one of the most dominant players in college history, earned back-to-back USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year honors in 2009-10, and led the Huskies to their first national championship in 2009. She still holds numerous school records as a pitcher, including career marks for wins, shutouts, strikeouts and innings pitched. Lawrie, from Langley, British Columbia, also played for the Canadian National Team in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. This season will be her fourth as a member of the USSSA Pride of the National Pro Fastpitch League (NPF) in Kissimmee, Fla.
