Baden Named as Official Basketball of the MIAA May 1, 2012
Baden Sports is proud to announce that it will be the Official Basketball for Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) beginning with the upcoming 2013 season. Baden will provide balls for all levels of the state tournaments including sectional finals, state semi-finals, and state finals.
Richard Neal, Executive Director of the MIAA, says, “We appreciate Baden's support of our high schools and students. We value the partnership.”
To celebrate this announcement, Baden and the MIAA will provide one free game ball to each boys and girls program in the state. These complimentary game basketballs will be arriving at schools in May.

Lawrie has a long list of accomplishments and honors. At the University of Washington she holds many records in wins, shutouts, strikeouts, just to name a few. Danielle holds the Pac-10 record for most Player of the Week honors in a career and season. She is also second in all-time Pac-10 career strikeouts. She is sixth in career strikeouts in NCAA history.

New Bat Standards - Simplified April 7, 2011
Right now there are many changes going on in bats with regard to what is legal and what is not. Some performance standards have changed, and restrictions have been placed on composite barrels in certain situations.
So let’s sort it out! Here is a summary of the major changes that have taken place over the last few months. As things change we will update this summary.
Adult Baseball (high school and college)
Old Standard: BESR
New Standard: BBCOR
• NCAA in 2011
• NFHS in 2012
Composite restrictions? Yes. All composite bats must pass “ABI – Accelerated Break-in Test”. Further, the NFHS (National Federation of State High School Associations) has banned composite bats in 2011, although some bats have been re-approved if they pass ABI.

Baden Named Official Ball of Phenom Basketball Camps February 9, 2011
Baden Sports is proud to announce that it will be the Official Basketball of Phenom Basketball Camps. For the next three years, all balls used at this leading national basketball camp will be Baden.

Nebraska High Schools Choose Baden February 4, 2011

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. (February 4, 2011) – Baden Sports is proud to announce that it will become the Official Ball in basketball, soccer, softball and volleyball for the Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) beginning in the 2011-2012 school year. Baden will provide balls for all sanctioned NSAA events, including all state championship games.

Deb Velder, Associate Director of the NSAA said: “The Nebraska School Activities Association is looking forward to introducing Baden Sports to our member schools through a ball partnership in volleyball, softball, basketball and soccer. The staff is confident that the schools will be impressed with the products and services that Baden will provide.”
In an effort to provide a smooth transition for schools to the newly adopted balls, Baden and the NSAA will provide one free ball to every basketball, soccer, softball and volleyball program in the state. The free balls will be sent to the athletic directors at each NSAA high school in early 2011.
